                                                             Buddha’s oracles:

          花香遐邇聞 施展仁恩沾道風
          己出輪迴 援溺躲劫
          君子求諸己 聖賢志在必得
          能與之言者  諄諄教誨
          見善如不及  聞過則喜  勿憚改
          生命之最 綻放光輝
          Like the fragrance of blossoms in springtime, the message of Tao spreads

          throughout the land, bringing benevolence, mercy and hope to all

          mankind. Be a virtuous person who hears the heart’s voice within. Set it

          as your goal to be a great sage. Be patient and persistent in exhorting

          others to do good deeds. See the kind ones and emulate them. Hearing of

          your own faults, be brave and correct yourself without hesitation. Devote

          yourself to helping others escape from calamities. Break your weary cycle

          of reincarnation. By pushing your limits and doing these things, the glory

          of your life will radiate as a bright light that inspires others to heed the

          message of Tao.

          吾乃 
      南屏道濟    奉
母命    降佛地  入內先參
皇母駕  問聲愛徒否歡喜  來此聽課否安怡
             靜靜爾之心氣  再待師訓文批
                                                         哈哈
        I am 
    Nan Pin Tao Ji, descending to this Temple by order of 
Heavenly Mater, and having here paid respects to 
Heavenly Mater, I ask my dear disciples if you are happy and if you feel peace 
                          and joy in listening to the Tao lectures here.
                          Now stay calm and listen attentively to your Holy Teacher.

          親愛的Disciples  
          How are you ? 
          How’s everybody ?
          Namaste！  Kumusta！
          總而言之  大家早上好
          昨晚否有睡得好  今早否有用漢堡
          還是燒餅加油條  外帶配豆漿
          那麼漢堡就是加奶茶囉
          想想印度拉茶很好喝  否有想念故鄉啊
Dear disciples, how are you? How’s everybody? Namaste. Kumusta. Good morning to every one of you! Did you have a good night’s sleep? Did you eat vegeburgers this morning for breakfast, or did you eat the clay oven rolls with crisp bread stick and soy-milk? Some of you had vegeburgers with teh tarikk -- pulled tea. Did the teh tarikk evoke memories of your hometown?

          徒兒們大家知道嗎
          爾們今天也是回到凡間的故鄉
          找到了回家之路 明白了歸鄉之途
          從此以往不再迷昧 不再輪迴
          不再困綁在花花的世界
Disciples, do you know that you have, here and now, found the way back to your eternal abode? That you are enlightened with the right path to your spiritual home? Do you know that you will not go astray, not reincarnate, and not get stuck in this temptation-filled world anymore? This is exactly the Truth you have sought and found here.

          找到了真理  研究後明理 明理後傳理
          讓世間的每一個眾生 都找到回家之路
          亦得到開啟天門之 key    好嗎
Therefore, understanding this Truth, you will learn to spread this Truth and help other sentient beings to also find their way home. Such is the key to heaven’s gate. Understand?

          Disciples 大家都懂嗎 今世能生為人 本是不簡單
          而今日之你們能得先天之至寶  開啟了天門 
Disciples, do you understand what a challenge it is to be a whole human being? And now as a whole human, how honored and privileged you are to be bestowed with such a great treasure as this Truth of Tao that opens heaven’s gate?

          天事人辦 天人合一
          將這五濁世間  經由徒兒們的良知與良能
          開啟了良善之途 展開了慈善之世
Implementation of this sacred mission requires human effort. Heaven and humans join their efforts in perfect harmony. Through your clear conscience and capable efforts we will pave a path of kindness, and transform this dusty world into a paradise of mercy and benevolence.

          這等殊勝的機緣  甚是難得  亦是難逢
          今日徒兒們皆是佼佼者 亦是夙世有修之人
          更是祖上有德澤 亦是自己根基深厚
          故能聞道歡喜 聞道不捨
          若非爾們深厚之根基緣分
          是很難來此將道理聽明白  
          了解嗎
Such a golden opportunity is extremely rare and hard to come by. And now you have it! This is testimony to the fact that you are a man of men, blessed with good spiritual foundation and ancestral virtues that enable you to feel heavenly joy and the will to go on to cultivate Tao. Were it not for your spiritual foundation and ancestral virtues, you would not be able to enter this Temple and listen to these Tao lectures. Understand?

          所以徒兒們 當自我敬重
          敬乃尊敬 重乃自重 自可迎刃而解
Therefore, as your Holy Teacher, I want you to respect others and to think highly of yourself. This will help you to get along with others and to succeed in all the many and different undertakings in your life.

          以一「敬」字加誠摯之心 處於人世間之每一個角落
          都能招引善人 亦能為自己帶來幸運與好運
If you can respect others and also hold a true and truthful view of them, then wherever you go, you will attract many kind-hearted people, and you will even generate your own good luck!

          問問徒兒大家聽過嗎
          爾的心念決定爾之態度  是不是啊
          而你們之態度 更決定你們之高度 還有深度
                                                               是不是呢
Have you ever heard that your thoughts determine your attitude, which determines how high you can fly and how deep you can delve? It is very true, isn’t it?

          希望徒兒們在人生之路上
          二六時中 保持著赤子般之純潔
          自然應事都好  自然應事無考 自然行事有導  
                                                                      懂嗎

It is my hope that you can, at all times and all places in your life journey, keep your child-heart, and cleave to your original innocence and purity. If you always maintain this true nature, then you will have good results in all your undertakings, obstacles will be removed, and you will have the guidance of Heaven. Understand?

          徒兒們更是有智慧之人
          當不與凡俗之事 與人來斤斤計較
          因為計較之心若起 則心無寧靜
          亦破壞爾之幸福念頭  是不是呢
All of you are my disciples, and all of you are wise enough not to make aggressive schemes or compete with others. Competing and scheming will only disturb your inner peace and crowd out your happy thoughts. Isn’t it so?

          現在請徒兒們一一將合同抱在胸前
          以誠敬之心 以慈悲之念來祈禱自己
          日日心平氣和 智慧清明 心靈平靜
          處事圓融  辦事有方
          將有功之事蹟 能推廣於人世
Now I want you to hold the Hand Sign in front of your chest, praying to Heaven with sincerity for a clear and peaceful mind, praying to Heaven with truthfulness that you can do your work harmoniously and systematically, praying to Heaven with mercy that you can let others take the limelight while you yourself take the fault for others’ failures.

          這中國有句話叫推功攬過
          老實的告訴徒兒們 其實推功容易 攬過難啊
          所以我們要學習子路之聞過則喜
          更應借著修行來改變自己  進而過則勿憚改  好嗎

Indeed it is the wisdom of an ancient Chinese adage to “Let others take the spotlight and let yourself take the faults for others.” Frankly speaking, the latter is more difficult than the former. We should all emulate Zilu, a Chinese sage, who was always pleased to hear others point out his faults, because he could cultivate a better self by rectifying his own faults. But can you also do the same?

          更有句話說聞善則拜 徒兒們若見人之善當如何啊
          是不是要學習呢 當不當要精進啊
          更應培養其心量 隱惡而揚善   好嗎
Another Chinese adage says that we should worship the kind deeds we see. When we see others act with kindness, what else should we do? Shouldn’t we also strive to emulate them? We should identify with them and feel their joy. And shouldn’t we also feel their remorse when they are at fault?

          看到徒兒們各個歡喜 感恩之心情
          為師學習做首英文 試試看     好嗎
          那麼就開始囉
As your Holy Teacher, I am very happy to see you all in high spirits. To pay a debt of gratitude I want to compose an English song for you. Let’s give it a try, OK? Now let’s start!

          Crazy Ji-Gong give you great mighty power
          I’m sending many holy home letters 
          Like a father   
          Build a shelter  
          I’m always being your strong shoulders
          Let’s go on forever 
          Spread Tao all over 
          Rectify your errors 
          Make your whole life regular 
          Everyone together
          Let’s all bring back our errant brothers 
          Let’s all help our hopeless sisters 
          Let’s all make the world become better 
          Be a happy Tao member

          師今歡喜會徒兒 徒兒歡喜唱善歌
          難得機緣需把握 行道修心在培德
          不枉今世為人者 當要頂天立地者
          忠恕之行心不惑 仁愛之舉幸福得
          師今來此告徒兒 徒等珍重行喜捨
          不多言語佛堂隱 伴著徒兒依難捨

As your Holy Teacher, I am so glad to see my disciples joyfully singing my song.
Seize the golden opportunity and diligently practice Tao. Rectify your mind and cultivate your virtues.
Don’t give up and live your life in vain; show your indomitable spirit. 
Loyalty and consideration will be your way of life.
Your benevolence and love will also bring good luck.
Now I am here exclusively for you, wishing you good health, peace and happy giving.
Here I end these words and retreat, yet I still stay with you -- it's hard to say goodbye.
